Bee Ready...The 2020 Fingerspelling Bee is coming this spring! More information will be coming soon!
The 56th Annual Illinois Teachers of the Deaf and Hard of Hearing Conference will be held on March 5-7, 2020, in Springfield, Illinois. We are looking towards the future, with 20/20 vision!
ITHI has officially changed our name to ITDHH, Illinois Teachers of the Deaf and Hard of Hearing. Our members voted at our 50th conference to change our name to include the "D" in our acronym, in order to be more representative of the population of students we serve. The process to legally change our name has now been completed, so the change is official. Please look for our new name on conference paperwork and other professional correspondence!
The main purpose of ITDHH is to provide information and support to teachers and other organizations related to the field of Deafness. To better service our members, ITDHH is broken into twelve areas across the state. Each area has at least one area chairperson who is responsible for relaying information from executive board meetings to the general membership.
The ITDHH Educational Services and Resource Directory is now online! You may now view and print any section of the directory directly from this site. To find the directory, please go to the tab marked "Resources" or click here.
