Illinois Teachers of the Deaf and Hard of Hearing is pleased to present the 2018 Illinois Fingerspelling Bee.

The information packet contains the forms and information needed to participate in the 2018 Illinois Fingerspelling Bee. Included you will find:

  •      Registration Forms and Information
  •  Rules and Procedures
  •  Parent/Guardian Consent Form
  •    Eligibility Requirements
  •    Information on Hosting a Local Spelling Bee
  •    Advisor Agreement Form
  •    Word Lists with Definitions and Example Sentences

 

Students participating in the event must have the following forms completed and submitted by March 16, 2018. Forms may be mailed or emailed. Addresses can be found in the forms section.

We are looking for proposals in the following areas: assessment, language development, subject area instructional techniques, self-advocacy, transitioning, study skills, communication, learning styles, culture and/or technology Please complete this form to submit a proposal for the next ITDHH conference!

All requests must be submitted by November 30, 2019, and a confirmation email will be sent when your form has been received. After the deadline, proposals will be reviewed and speakers will receive a confirmation if their proposal has been accepted.
